The festive season/end of the year is upon us. It’s been one heck of a year we must admit, But if you’re reading this you made it this far and it’s worth celebrating and wrapping up the year in a grand style.

The festive season is usually filled with activities, many parties, outdoor events, family reunions, and the likes and you want to show up to these places looking dope and stylish as fuck! It’s everyone’s favourite season, especially when it comes to fashion and style as many people acquire and sew new clothes, and some change their entire wardrobe to usher in the new year. Was thinking about it and thought to create a checklist of essential wardrobe items you need to look sexy and sharp as you go about the merriment.

A Traditional Wear/Kaftan: Like I said earlier, it’s a party season and many people fix their weddings for the season as many “I just got back” (IJGB) people will be in town. Even if you had a rough year, you don’t want to show up to those places looking like your year. The simple kaftan well sewn with a piece of good fabric and properly styled can make you look like a million bucks and attract opportunities to you as you prepare for the year ahead.
Perfume: Though an invisible accessory, your perfume is the only item that makes you instantly attractive with a minimum effort. You’ll perhaps be going to public places like beaches, malls, and other outdoor events. You might likely be doing some physical activities which could make you sweat and give you an unpleasant odour. You can get rid of this with a good perfume, keeping you fresh while you’re out there.
Casual wears: Of course, you’ll be receiving visitors and going on visits yourself. You don’t want to look too serious. You need something fun and laid back you’ve worked hard all year long, now it’s time to play hard. T-shirts, jeans chinos, shorts, face caps, etc are fashion items you can use to pull off a casual look effortlessly. It’s a game of combinations, putting it well together will not only give the casual comfort but also give you the relaxed gentleman vibe.
Sweatshirts/hoodies and Hats: Depending on the side of the country you are on, it gets really cold and dusty during the festive season, although its colder in some areas than others. You don’t want to get the flu or catch a cold, ruining your merriment. The sweatshirts and jeans not only keep you warm but also protect you from the harsh weather conditions that can cause your skin to get very dry and scaly. The hats can either be a fedora, a face cap, or your traditional cap, it’s uses are both functional and protective. The functional aspect is to let it serve as a fashion piece to crown your entire outfit and give it a complete look. The protective aspect is to protect your hair from dust which can eventually cause dandruff.

Shoes and slides: your shoe can make or break your entire look. It’s the metaphorical salt that makes the soup sweet. Every outfit you rock this season should be accompanied by matching shoes. Here are a few examples and possible wearing ideas:

- Sneakers: perfect for jeans and you can also rock some certain simple types with your kaftan
